Just been on live today and it said i had to do an update to go on live does anyone know what this is for or what it does as i dony want my drive back to stock again.

A friend of mine accepted this update earlier today. Apparently, it does not re-flash back to stck as all but one of his backups are still working.

The one that isn't is Black Ops, so it looks like changes to the ap25 sector means that current Black Ops back up discs wont work until the powers that be figure out what the update does and issue a patch for the .iso - then a re-burn wuill be required.

Can someone confirm this? Does the update affect anything other than Black Ops?

i think its all ap2.5 games not working after update

Looks like the AP2.5 table changed again and also, 0272(9054) drives become locked. Also some updates failing with status codes, could be a ban wave under way?? Not sure tho will post when i know more.

SO IF YOU OWN A 0272 (9504) SLIM XBOX DO NOT TAKE THE UPDATE IF YOU WANT TO FLASH IT
