View Full Version : Tuning Golf GTI 2.0TFSI With Uprated Fuel Pump

Ok i have been struggling to find the Fuel pressure maps to increase fuel pressure from 110mbar to 130mbar midrange.

I have Uprated internals so higher fuel pressure can be achieved once map has been adjusted.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Did you use APR fuel pump or did you modify pump internals by yourself?

you hve got 6 maps of pressure limiter. from 1CED46 to 1CEEb0

So with this car is it just the 6 pressure limiter maps that need adjusting to increase fuel pressure?

Have been told this on another forum:

" Upgrading to new bigger pump as Autotech or APR, you need to recalibrate the software for this bigger volume pump volume also. It is not correct to increase only fuel rail pressure."

So can anyone also help with this?

you need to modify a lot more than only fuel pressure maps to increase power ...

Sorry didn't make it very clear.
I already have a tuned mod file but now want to increase fuel pressure as I have fitted hpfp internals. Everything else has been tuned but struggling on method used to tune for fuel pump upgrade.

Any help would be much appriecated

you hve got 6 maps of pressure limiter. from 1CED46 to 1CEEb0
this 6 maps 1x16 are turbo presure limiter and not fuel presure limiter
so,mod this maps will not change any think in presure fuel

the fuel presure in rail is limited to 140bar from factory
so,what you ask for m8?

To increase pressure from 110bar to 130bar. Vcds shows that fuel pressure request is 110bar across most of rev range at WOT.

I.e revo do a stage 2+ which is a stage 2 map but with fuel pressure increased...

I do not have revo. But friends have revo stage2+ and vcds shows fuel pressure request at 129bar. Mine is 110bar.

Just need help to increase fuel pressure to 130bar. As said I already have a stage1 file.

Bump on this i think i have found the fuel pressure maps x 5. But i believe there is 1x1 single limiter for fuel pressure but can not find it.I did all the maps to 125bar but pressure when logging on vcds remains at 110bar(standard)
