i think if u did like this , u need OPDS CALIBRATION, not sure

no, you wont need to do opds calib. ive done it the exact same way, and it was fine...

Check clock spring, just replaced one in Acura TL for the same problem

May be also bad unit. When crashed, something burn inside and can't be fixed by dump... Have couple of those...
Try different unit with the same dump.
