repair instrument cluster w210 '95

problem is don't run benzine gauge, revolution gauge, temperature gauge, only moves oscillating speed gauge.

i have saw all capacitors and run good.
cluster is VDO 1995 ref 2105400447

what could malfunction!!

yes m8, scuse for my english!!
Problem is needles shakes.
Diesel and temperature needle don't work.

I understand but do all the needles shake or is there one behaving different from the others?

dash have got 2 conectors behind. When you connect, pixels are perfect, needles or gauges of sppedmeter shakes and do noise, tac tac tac you start car, revolutions don't move, temperature don't move, diesel indicator don't move.

when you are driving rarely, run perfect.

I think has got component broke, but i can't find it.

Ok,
If the speedo one is shaking and the others are still you should remove the speedo one and I think you will find the others start working. Replace that one and hopefully all will be ok. I think I had one with same symptoms.

you reffer change only small engine sppedo? where could buy it? have got 4 wiring points

no need to change any thing
their is some lamp missed from the insturment case that problem
so buy smal lamp and try to weld it to 2 of the 4 pins at the shaking needle and it will work

Hi mates. I have the same dashboard. I would like to clone on donor dash. Can I do that only change de eeprom or I need to do anything else?
