nissan primistar accelerator pedal problem

nissan primistar 2004 red 1.9 dci when started up sometimes the accelerator pedal doesnt do anything then when turned of and on it starts to work sometimes have to turn it on and of a few times to make it work tried egr valve air flow meter boost pressure sensor and waste gate solenoid. also when it stops working it shows as workin on live data any ideas thanks

app sensor u mean the electronic pedal?? tried one of them on it mate also tried egr meat cant work it out now looking for bad wiring or ecu any other suggestions???

ok, been a while since played with one.

Passenger head light, ecu 'area' multiplug, try doing the 'hokey cokey' with it.

fuel pressure-- injector leak or low pressure pump fail

app sensor values track 1) 0-5v track 2) 0-2.5v

Oh, hang on, i'm going on holliday in like 3 hours, not got ANY clothes packed, but got plenty of stuff packed, ecu's speedos, radios etc etc

one reanult maybe the same engine ? same sympton's like your's
in the end it was the particular filter no fault codes on it either

the accelerator pedal is electrical or manual(wired)??
if it electrical try to re-learn it by using diagnostic device like carman scan .

I had the same problem, I cleaned the EGR and it sorted it

It is a software problem.You need to reprogram with new software version.

So its a main dealer only fix ?? or is the new software version available somewhere ??

Opel Vivaro had got same problem. Opel has got new software.
