Keep forgetting about this but the missus's has an alfa 156 and the spare key fob remote doesnt work. The light flashed but wont open doors, switch off alarm. when she first got it I opened it and soldered loose switch gave it the board good clean, reflowed some sorder but it still wont work, that was 18 months ago and I keep forgetting about it so thought I'd post before the inevitable happens and the main key gets lost.
Just wondering what the problem could be , could it be out of synch or something?

no, those alfa keys do not need resynching, they die from age and have a long list of faults with them, must have repaired over a hundred of those now
