Reading and writing PSA MEV17.4 infineon tricore

I have an ecu to clone PSA MEV17.4, infineon tricore proccessor TC1766, no external eeprom .


What tools can read write this , i presumme it has bdm connections???

Hello friend you need tool boot tricore...
example i use FGtech for it

yes mate it has bdm connections, but for this generation of ecu they are used only once, in the factory programming, after that they are deactivated.

there are several tools that can do it but the important fact is to be able to use them without buying the tool itself :D

i can clone full ecu without problem

Could i use this software attached with elm on bench???

Its flasherTHP which uses elm interface in software theres option

if i do earth connection via 1kohm resistor as eepromazza suggests???

i think this software can do only flasher in obd without chksum

can t clone ecu..

button ecu read full maybe not active..

Just read through the FlasherTHP instruction, it said the read dump will be saved as its own specific *.etu. Anyone check that the dump has the same content as if read by other tools of .bin? If not so, how to do when need to reflash by the .bin file.
