Looks like you need to do a bit of checking on Wiring, Connectors, and make sure everything is clean earthed and getting a good +12 supply

for the coolant sensor also check out the thermostat as some vag cars have an issue with them not sitting correctly causing the tempreature not to get to the correct level quickly enough the pcm times the warm up and flags the coolant sensor as the fault

prob temp sensor faulty....done loads of these...randomly fail for a couple of seconds..... then work

One last thing, If the coolant sensor was in a fault condition, would it stop the engine from firing, cause on a few occasions when I have tried to start the car it intermittantly turns over without firing and I have to wait 5minutes.

Yep being here we're in seat city, they have the same system and had a lot of non starters due to temp sensor

Redir Fail: it means that at least 1 label-file is missing.
Sometimes the label-file needed must be found through a directory file. For the engine that is: 8E_01.LBL.
Your engine ecu's number is not in the file (commented out). Similar will be the case for the gearbox.
Excessive Comm Errors: what it says - too many errors during communication - timeouts, checksum errors, failing bytes, etc.

There is vdcs 1.1 which solves the add 02 problem. anyone know of a patch?
