OpCOMLoader russian to english please

would any russian pc user translate OpCOMLoader with restorator?

the problem is that in non russian xp pc i only get ????? or strange characters like ????????? even if i choose cirilic codepage that i cant translate

it is easy, install free trial version of restorator in english (or run free portable version in spanish), then open OpCOMLoader.exe and edit russian text in TFORM1 (lines 23, 34 and 50)
then just save it and share here

besides, OpCOMLoader help form doesnt appear in restorator, maybe some russian-speaker could translate its content into a text file and share, just click about-help button and translate that window

what about translating buttons and help of OP-TEST and ASK1-0 as you did with opcomloader? then we will know what are they for.
they both also include russian version of opcomloader which are already translated by you, forget about them.

This OP-COM loader need to be used just in a machine where OP-CPM s/w is already installed or it can be use from any machine ?

opcomloader can be used in any pc, with or without opcom installed, it is independent from opcom

the correct sequence for upgrading-downgrading with opcomloader is:

Connect OPCOM, start program, change nothing, press the left button, "select .hex firmware file", Wait untill process is finished..... close the new window and then the program, check firmware version with opcom 100219a in settings/test interface or with opcomfut in firmware/check id

i quote myself:

with opcomloader you can try last 1.44 firmware with opcom 100219a and then go back to 1.39 if you like, no problem at all, of course if you have never started any 2011 official opcom version with interface plugged in computer (which would have upgraded to 1.43 or 1.44 but disabling bootloader) or some 2010 version which erased your interface's pic

that's my case, i have gone 1.44 and then 1.39 without problems, of course i never tried official version with my interface so its bootloader is untouched

2011 official software installs new firmware with a modification. The modification runs not the old bootloader, instead he runs the main code

if you already upgraded interface by means of official software and you want to go back to 1.39, maybe it's cheaper and easier to buy new interface from ebay, just from 31euro, than buy a programmer interface and reprogram because it is very difficult to solder some wires to pic chip. i think interfaces from ebay still come with 1.39 firmware, but take into account that new hardware versions may have the resistor problem which have to be changed from 10k to 510 ohm to make interface read from pin 12

firmwares included with opcomloader are totally different to those included with opcomfut (different size and therefore crc32)
because the ones inside opcomloader include also bootloader

i have noticed the only difference between upgrading-downgrading with opcomfut and opcomloader is that you get different number in line 8 "Interface opened. Handle:" when checking version with opcomfut
i suppose because of different firmware files (.fw and .hex) which include bootloader or not

2 windows still in russian:
in you try to upgrade with interface unplugged it says "interface not found"
when process has finished i dont know what it says but i guess it says something like "finished"

author alexre promised to translate the whole program but he needs time, source code was lost and then he must reprogram it all
anyway above translation is enough for the job

Verified with OPComFut and now I have interface uddated to 1.44
