I got a kts 520 main unit where the usb port is ripped off. It was already repaired once (not by me) and broke again. Some solder pads and copper lines are ripped off, too. So i need some information to make it working again.
The red led on pcb is on, the green led outside is flashing sometimes (shortly).
I tried to connect it with db-9 serial cable an 15v power supply. As i have no genuine cable i found a wiring diagramm and made one myself. Can someone confirm if the serial connecting cable has this wiring or is there something missing/wrong?
(db9female --- db9 female)
2 --- 3
3 --- 2
4 --- 4
5 --- 5
shield/case --- shield/case
I got a communication error between esi and kts with that cable, couldn't update the firmware.
Can someone tell me where to connect the 4 usb-wires? There is a pdiusbd12 on it, i found pinning diagram, but i'm unsure where to connect vcc, ground, data+ and data- on pcb. Pinning diagram says:
5 --- ground
24 --- vcc
25 --- data-
26 --- data+
Can someone tell me where the wires from the usb port are soldered originally?
Any help is welcome. A working serial connection would be ok, usb would be better of course.
