Cummins Cat detroit nexiq bluetooth problem

Hi, am trying to connect my bluetooth nexiq using a bluetooth adapter i purchased for 10 dollars, i didnt use the original bluetooth that nexiq says to use with nexiq usb link adapter. When I try to do calibration and change parameters on cummins, the bluetooth connects but dont do anything, also the cat and detroit programs, it works fine connecting using USB but not bluetooth, please help. Thank you.

I had to use the recomended bluetooth to get mine to work right.Tried others but had nothing but trouble.I have a wvl2 now.Had less trouble with bluetooth.Very few problems with bluetooth.Wvl2 has been one problem after another.I cant tell any difference in performance.

I use "NJoy Tech" bluetooth adapter and don't get troubles, maybe you have a bad configuration

Totally agree.I had very few problems for years.Now I have upgraded!Thats a joke.Many more problems with wvl2.Not serious.Just agravating.

I guess ill purchase the recommended bluetooth and see if it works. Thanks guys
