Hello, I need help with bmw e 46. car dont start gave these errors on the diagnosis: internal control 6, internal control 7, EWS tampering, and more. I concluded that the dde is faulty , I bought another second hand and I cloned with BDM all, EPROM and flash and MPC from the old computer to new( second hand). now remained only the error with EWS tampering, there is a solution to fit DDE with EWS ?. you have other files dde pair with EWS ?
attach all files and file EWS
car e 46 320 year 2002
ecu Bosch 0281010565
dde 7 789 572

Thanks for any help

Hi,

after cloning the ecu did you tried to carry out a EWS-DDE alignment? Lately i had a similar problem with E46 M3.

If the engine is cranking the key is okay.
When it does not start anyway the EWS-DDE connection/communication is faulty.

What tool do/can you use for diagnosis?

No, with your tools you cannot adapt the DDE with a virgin EWS but you can adapt a virgin DDE to the original EWS.

The communication is not ok!!! If it was you wouldnt have an EWS error. Maybe the ecus are communicating but with the wrong content.

Read the error memory with INPA and post the result as a sreenshoot or as textfile.

Try to align with INPA. (Shift+F6 for EWS menu)

Problem solved , car run, many thanks

dde is paired with ews, all ok, car dont start and error persist because a fu....ng batery charger has been conected to batery . when remove batery charger car start without intervention, and error is gone, stupid situation

THANKS to all for help

Very strange. Never heard that a battery charger can cause such things. But anyway, the main point is that it is runnig now.

btw. If you want to thank somebody use the "Thank" button. ;)

e46 BMW's wont align properly without battery charger being connected, it wont work at all, car must be at charging level voltage for alignment to be successful and of course you cant have car running so battery charger is only solution which works perfect
