hi, i have bought a new (second hand) immo box
part number
89780-12160
the ecu is original
the eeprom on ecu is a l56r and has all zeros in it
the immo box i can add keys to using carprog so that isnt a problem
or would it be best to virginise ecu and immobox?

can you posty the dump from your immo box and are your keys 4c
z786
1st August, 2011, 02:53 AM
ok heres my dump, the key i got with immo box isnt being detected by carprog, i opened it up and seen the transponder was damaged.
here are the 2 keys i could read and yes they are 4C
FF 89 2F 06 00 00 00 00
6B DF 0A 08 00 00 00 00
if some1 could add these keys to dump and give me a virgin file for the ecu l56r that would be great

What about this tool (http://www.ecutool.com/Toyota-Smart-Keymaker-OBD_1113.html), no good for your case?

your file was corrupt so iv modified it the light should go out now i think you may have a problem with your reader or the ecu is corrupting the immo when you try to learn the box in its the same pass as before

Never used it too, it supposedly resets the ECU to virgin state.
Some say it works well, for the little money I figure it is worth a try, no ECU removing, desoldering, etc.

I've seen it advertised 4C and 4D but that might be BS as the tool looks the same.

Have you tried my tricks on most Toyota cars when transponder key data is lost try this trick.
1. Put your transponder key in the ignition.
2. Do not turn the key.
3. Make shore radio, lights and all electrics are off.
4. Close the door living the driver window open half way.
5. Do not allow any one to touch the car for at list one hour.
6. Start the car after one hour.
7. Usually it does work fingers crossed.
If all fails I could only think about a long process mate.
1. Take the EEPROM off from the ECU or immobiliser box using desoldering equipment.
2. Read the data from the EEPROM using EEPROM reading software.
3. Save the data to your PC or laptop.
4. Solder the EEPROM back onto the immobiliser box & refit to the car
5. Calculate the key logic with software or Zedbull to make transponder key file.
6. Write to transponder key 4C OR 4D.
7. Start car.

I would look for one in scrappy remember you only need key and immo you do not need ecu to start Toyota cars.

Ak48 for Fiat key maker best (key maker 4d chip for toyota, key maker for ford focus for mazda obd, duplicate key maker machine)
I could only think that if you buy this tool which is very cheap remove eeprom from immo box and read and write key if there is anything wrong the key will refuse to programme.
You need 4D key Easy as that.

Take the original immo box
write correctly 93LC66
your "93lc66 immo.rar" - bad read!
badly read / bad programming
Set the synchronization ECU - IMMO manually
what type of ECU
