Do not program if it shows?????????? Or 000000000.

Only programme when you can read your old mileage.

Check your connections to OBD or you may be doing some thing wrong mate!!!!!!!!!!

My experience is that you can't do it over OBD if dash is made by TRW in this car ...

Ok tried 1998 vw beetle today with no progress. instruments in the car are part number 1C0 919950D KOMBI+WEG FAHRS. M73 V04.This is a magneti marelli dash.It asks for new value and then old value which i assume has to be put in km and not miles? Also after the values are put in tacho universal thinks .................................................. ....
.................................................. .............
.................................................. .............
.................................................. .............
..........
and then just exits out to main screen for make selection but mileage is not adjusted and still the same.Is there something I am missing?pulling a fuse??for instrument cluster afterwards or something???Or just not possible over obd period??Any help would be great. considering this is 98 should be able to do it.

So why don't you program it while you have it out 10 minutes max to do the job, 912 micro inside.
