citroen ax headlight problem

hi all i have a citroen ax 1997 i have developed a headlight problem,the side lights work ok and the what i call the high beam,its the dipped beam thats the problem mostly it works but some times it just goes off and i have to either flash the high beam or turn off the engine and lights all together then turn the lights on then re-start the engine.I have change the switch on the steering column so its not that,is there another kind off switch underneath the dash i can hear it click when you switch the lights on and off could it be this. thanks

if its clicking under the dash, maybee its a faulty relay.

if its clicking under the dash, maybee its a faulty relay.hi m8 you may be right have found a suspect relay under the dash fiddled with it a bit then taped it up and without tempting fate seems to be ok at the mo cant get one till after xmas tho so heres hoping.
