hi dk brothers
been recently having issues with insite 7.4 specifically with changing parameters and password removals so went about trying to revive my FAV insite 6.4 on my win7 laptop so:
step 1. download win XP mode from microsoft website.
step 2. install.
step 3. open virtual pc and locate the .vhd file in "your virtual machines folder" in your documents file.
step 4. win xp will open as a virtual machine with your host win7 os in the background. Load Insite 6.x .iso file on your image disk and run using win xp.
step 5. generate necessary keys and install all till "password keys".
step 6. shut down virtual xp and change date on win7 OS to (any date earlier than Jan 2011.....e.g Aug 2010)
step 7. re-open your XP virtual machine and the date should be the date you've just changed it to as well. now install password keys( this will take away the expiry issue)
step 8. once complete shut down xp and change date to current and re-open.
All should be well at this point!!!
