arnet remote issues

Hi All, my remote has died :( just in time for xmas, led still flashes when pressed but box not responding? has anyone had the same issue or does anyone know a fix? i have purchased a "oneforall" 5

to see if this would solve the prob, but no joy yet again. does anyone know the remote code for arnet to punch into the new remote? or a proven remote to buy that works arnet?

would highly apreciate any feedback folks as a christmas with a bad back flicking through the channels on my box manually takes me back to the days before remotes were around :) nor cable tv - must have been the betamax lol.
