You can read on obd (no need to boot-mode), but some interfaces, only make partial reading, not the entire flash 29f400psop, file 512kb.
For tuned to file, serve with partial reading.
For immo only serves complete reading.

why not just remove the flash from inside and read it in eeprom/flash programmer?

its not hard to remove the flash from the units
