bmw E46 318 420 dme

please could anybody help, i have bought a 2nd hand dme bosch 420 and tried to sync ews and dme with hanatech and autoboss, it won't sync. tried the unit in another car and it programs fine. there is no fault code in the ews , fault code in dme is ews 3 dme disabled any ideas.Thanks in advance.

you cant sync because its already adapted to another car.you first need to make it virgin then use inpa to adapt.

thanks ecufix, now all i need is the 29f adaptor, the polo mp9 immo off works fine thank you
