At the moment I'm using cucusoft avi to vcd dvd mpeg creator pro but I'm starting to get fed up with it as I have to manually select from 10 quality levels to try and get the best quality that fits into 4.7 gb. This is a big problem as it doesn't just go on the length of the film it takes into account number of frames original size of avi sound quality. I have also tried dvd santa this does set the best quality and get it right first time automatically but I quite often have sync problems after conversion and takes the same length of time to convert as the film lasts, so basically what I'm looking for is a program that converts quickly and efficiently like cucusoft but selects the quality automatically like dvd santa. Any suggestions would be much appreciated ta.

why burn to dvd ??
Depending on your set up, you can use a PC HD to send to your sat box ( I use a dreambox for this) or just get a movie type box...1GB and copy movies to the HD and then move to the TV and play back this way.... you will save yourself the expense of a buying dvd's and have a great HD back up as well.

I do stream them from pc to wii wirelesly but I tend to stick them on disk for the bairns watching in the bedroom or if I send them up to my sister and her bairns
