I am thinking of putting up some security camera's just for peace of mind,looking for a 4 camera system.The question is what is the best system to get for about ?400 and are they easy to install

we use something similar to this at work,
but we use a Honeywell system.

this looks like a decent deal, your getting 4 PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras, and a 500mb DVR.

Maplin do good seals on cctv systems
4camere 500gb drive networked for ?300 if i remember

I bought the securix cameras from maplin the hardest part of installation is the running of the cables from camera to box they all connect straight to the box. I think i payed ?300+ for them the cables that plug into the cameras carry there own supply easy to install and the recorder plugs into tv for easy replay
