GT1 and ISN

Hi guys, can a GT-1 read the ISN on an E36?

Ediabas can do this. (works for me many times)
Gt-1 (never tryed) but think also can do the job

So if INPA can read it from the ECU so should GT1?

I know that older DME/DDE used other protocol and interface.
Older BMW's used KW71

Ediabas and interface can do both KW71 and Ds2
Maybe GT-1 interface-software can't do KW71 ?

I know that many diesel (DDE) used KW71

I'm having trouble setting up my INPA-DCAN.
I figue if my GT-1 can do everything INPA can, than I will just use that.

My main concern is reading ISN out of old BMW's. For the new stuff I have my AVDI.
