Star C3 C4 Diagnostic tool

I want to buy this tool for Mercedes with all cables.

I reading thread about developper mode (that I want) and I need it in external HDD with best soft number. (2011)

I see there are 2 tool: C3 and C4 version.
What is the best ?

Who can see clearly now and send me bests links for buy good hardware ?

You will probably get a lot of links and proposals, from Chinese sellers at least. And everyone states their product is the best, perfect, while others sell crap.

So how could you decide if someone here suggests something? You have learn yourself to identify which tool is good. Luckily this has been discussed extensively at this forum already.

Forget the C4 but be careful with the C3 tools too, the cheap ones are not good. The problem is that many are selling the cheap one at a high price, an expensive one may also be bad.

yes***65292; DB-member is right. I think the c3 is better than the c4, for c3 is much steady for diagnosing the benz.But I think the chinese clone can be chosen, for the cheap price, and some chinese suppliers also apply you the technical support.

C4 and c3 is the same software, but c4 is min mb star. As all say right, c3 is more stable than c4.

many Chinese supplier say they can offer a best quality c3 with a high price. actually all the c3 is the same. The last software is v2011

Now c3 only has two kinds, one is can only for car, one is for cars and trucks.

Something bothers me about your sales advertisement. Tell me the function of this "1 x Serial adapter cable " cable for the product from your link? I bet I know why it is there, and I'm sure your RS232 to RS485 converter box is empty too.

Perhaps you mean your shop has only two types of C3 products. In fact there is one "genuine clone" which has several variants on the final assembly and there are several cheap copies with completely different design.

Which 2011 release is your SW? You know we have already seen several 2011 releases.
