I will try tune Alhambra TDI 1Z
028 906 021P 2x 27C512

After tune CS ok(winols), boots up ok but generates trouble code:
01208 Data records in ECU altered.

The injection amount is then limited to 33mg/r.


Maybe somebody else has encountered similar problems.

Yes I have encountered this before on Seat Toledo 1.9TDI 1Z engine, msa12 plastic box and a few different Transporter with 2.5TDI.
I did struggle with it for weeks back then.
I bet it has something to do with checksum but did not solve it. Also these troublesome software does not have any empty room to do full byte chk corrections. Also tried changing one byte up and odd and even byte down, did not work.
So no tuning for these. Or maybe hammer. :)

Your 896 MOD has wrong CHK. I attached file with corrected CHK.

Tuning works perfect on these ecus. Winols (2.22) handles the checksum fine but the necessarry limitation patches must be applied manually by a tuner who knows what he is doing! No software i know does them automatic. I like :-)
