berlingo picasso bsi vith nec easier way?

hello all members
in few last days i am getting a lot of these bsi"s to do vith nec and i am getting sick of them. so i have a question what wuld happen if i put cluster to 999999 km and put it in the car and drive for a few kilometers will it go to 0 #and on" or not. it wuld be a lot easier to drive a car for few km then do nec in bsi.
and then adjust km on vich value i wont. did anyone try this already or has some experiance.

genius idea... I think if this works you should get Nobel prize.

How about somebody with bsi obd2 update try that on Pezo or Citroen. Write 999999 in bsi via obd, drive 2km and write bsi mileage that you want on obd again.

but i am sure i am not the first one who tougth of that, so there must be a problem i have tomorow xsara and 2 berlingos to do, all nec bsi so i will try and report. but if someone has experiance vith this report

obd programm on dp3 won't work, only can based cars will do the bsi by obd.

today i tryed on berlingo i puted it on 999999 and it counted 999 meters and stoped at 999999,9 km and didnt count any more. so solution doesnt work. so only option is doing nec
