Audi A4 2008 and DP3 via OBD?

Hi,
What are the experiences with DP3 and Audi A4 2008 (new model, not RB8) via OBD. What is the version coverage. I have one to do tomorrow.

Dp3 will do it but the earlier ones can take up to an hour to find code like early golf 4 unless it has been done before just plug in and leave it going.

yes, i confirm, it can take very long.
I use chip direct, the chip is easy to get to when you have the dash out.
It's under the lcd (3 little trokx on the back and you can take the lcd out).
with chip direct the code is found within 2 minutes.

2008 will be ok by OBD, but must conect the charger to batery, it will takes a lot of time to find security code.

Yes, DP3 can do it without problems.

thats why its nice to have vagdashprog in the box as well!

I did one today, went straight for the vagdash, didn't bother trying with dp3.
