PTT v1.12 Question

For those of you running PTT v1.12, I am having a problem. I can connect to Volvo engines just fine, but I can't connect to Mack engines. It just says it can't connect, and when I look at the connection it looks like it is trying to use the Volvo adapter, not the Nexiq USB Link. I change it to USB Link, hit ok, try to connect, fails, and I check and it went back to the Volvo adapter. Any ideas?

For each of the control unit and the system, individual connection settings.
Need to go to settings, select and configure the adapter MACK ...

OK, I got Mack working fine now, but the Volvo is the problem now. I can use our Volvo adapter just fine, but the Nexiq one won't work at all.

Has anyone here EVER been able to use PTT with the Nexiq USB Link to talk with a Volvo? If so, what year/model did you communicate with?

I didnt want to start another thread but I have a problem installinbg Volvo PTT 1.11. Everytime it goes to install the MS SQL Server 2005 it aborts and crashes. I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and knows why ??

Try installing v1.12 ... I also had the same problem as you, and it was on a clean install of XP Pro w/SP3 ... I ended up getting a different XP Pro w/SP3 install CD, and it worked fine.

Works fine on FH12 yom 2006, FH13 yom 2008. DIY adapter consist of 4-cables.
