Scenic 2 dash help please

I need change mcu dump on Scenic 2 2004 dash, can somebody help me whit MCU identify?

Car type: Renault Scenic Jaeger - 68HC908AZ32 - 2000-2001 year

Hi Jarecki,

You should look at 93C56 and it must be under the big display. Unsolder the Display and then unsolder eeprom and post dump here. If you try to repair dash then search the forum and you will find a lot of info.

It's 93c56 , with some skills you don't have to remove display.

Does anyone know if there is solder points that you can use to read from the back? This model is a pain...

I'm gut about fix scenic II dash, for remove display (ALL PICTURES is from my table) I use desoldering gun ZD-917 and Warton Metals Brown flux. I know to mileage and settings is on 93c56:)

challenge is inject extra language on this dash
-polish language is not available on early Scenic II dash
-from 2005 clip or x-431 can easy change language

I know to is possible because some guys in Poland offer this language swap on auction web and I have one time old 2004 dash on table and I see to somebody swap Portugal language for polish. :)
I think is same method like in Volvo S6,S80 etc, just swap part of mcu flash.

I read this and many others before start thread and I can't find connection diagram I look just for xtal connection. I like to be sure beafor I tray connect programmer. uPD780828 is checked from http://www.etlweb.com/?ref=documents
Case is still open :( but I find some Nec family list an some nec...:

your MCU is a 100pin model with 25 pin each side. I don't find connection like this.........uPD780828 is 80pin

thanks but just changes on 93c56 is not enough after this when change language for polish on screen is french :)

no I don't have solution for read processor, why you think your processor on dash is bad?

I thinks it's OTP uP and only best solution to chnge language buy a little bit new version of scenic from 2004 or 2005 which have include Poland Language and make a copy eeprom and exchange dashboard .
