Hello, i have a Renault Megane diesel 1998, Jaeger dash, with MC68HC11KG4

i have changed km and worked everything ok, a couple of days later the dash returned and doesn`t work ( km appear but temp. and fuel go up and vel and rpm don`t work ).

I checked everything and i don`t find the problem.

The dash is very difficult to find here where i`m living.

The question, is possible to change data in a gasoline dash to make it work in a diesel one?

Any help is important.

for this you have to take flash and eprom from mcu.

check may be you have bad soldered pins of mcu on pcb

I checked everything

I don`t know what happed i have done this kind of car a lot of times and all the times did a god work

want to solve the problem, the only thing is that i can`t find a dash new or used to change it.

may be it's not your fault just happened same time.

it's a very sensible MCU, have you changed via dash plug or direct? so you can look for another mcu and put inside flash and eprom dump for this dash type

No sorry the mcu is MC68HC11KG4, by mistake i typed a wrong model.

I programmed onboard, in the back of the panel ( is the dash with four connectors )

if you can use a board gasoline in a diesel.
if you still need it send me eeprom data and modify for you

You want the reading i have in the Mcu?
Is enought with eeprom reading or you need All memory from mcu?
Can i do the job with Upa?

Hello friend it is possible to interchange petrol with benzine
You can also change it with a sagem dash.
Tell us where u are located i can send you u one if you need.
I am in holland so we only have km here.
