Ok I have a macbook air arriving soon and I am trying to sort out how I will have windows. I do not want to use bootcamp or anything as the hard drive is too small.
I want to install windows 7 to an 160gb external hard drive. Ive been messing about today on my dell laptop. I used novicorp win2flash to hopefully set up windows 7 on an external hdd.
Unfortunately I was mistaken, this will not install on the hdd, it will simply just boot windows 7 from the usb hard drive.
Is it possible to actually install windows 7 to an external hard drive, not just boot from it?
