Read flash from ecu. You can dpf off by ecusafe or manually in Winols. Do checksums. Write file. Check everything, then if it's ok you can remove dpf filter from exhaust system. Sensors stay.
It's simple procedure for simply vag edc16. Renault have bsi....
Opel makes trouble, fiat also..
Volvo can also makes troubles. Somewhere are tricks but most keep silent.

I need to jump on this too mate.

Got a 2006 laguna in need of dpf offing.

Just had a peugeot 407 with dpf faults, tried manual regen with pps but just keeps saying regen imposible but dont say why its impos??

After reading a few posts, I think there is not 1 tool for this, galletto for some, MPPS for some.

Also how to calculate checksome after alteration of file?? MPPS dont calculate for all, only some.

I use ECUSAFE + BDM100 & MPPS 5 together with Winols (for check-sum).
Never let me down (of course except for those ECU witch ecusafe stuck on them).

I use for long time mpps v5 clone and works ok. When i have doubts use bdm (include cks correction).
Sometimes ecusafe 2.0 can not make properly dpf off so have to do it manually in Winols, then calculate cks with them.
In Renault/Peugeots/Citroens sometime you have change (disable dpf) or change eloys level via interface f.e. in bsi module.
If it can not be regenerated it might be too dirty.

I think about buyind ecusafe 3 with online acces. Anybody heard how it works or have experience with it (multijets, siemens, edc17xx)?

It depends. For example edc15 Citroen file after ecusafe has cks correct.
Edc16 after ecusafe has incorrect cks, so have to do it in Winols.
Maybe ecusafe 3.0 correct cks everytime, i don't know...

I didn't think ECUSafe 2.0.0 did Citroen EDC15? Just EDC16 and 17?

ecusafe (1.9 and 2.0 too) did all PSA edc15 cars well. Checked many times. But with edc16 and sid803 have problems...
