I went last year, find the local superstore for booze. It was almost ?5 a pint.

Visit the main square at night ... awesome atmosphere.

There is also an intricate network of alleyways with plenty of shops, make sure you look around for a few hours before commiting to a purchase as prices will vary when haggling.

From the moment you step out of the Airport the haggling begins with the taxi drivers.

Make sure you use genuine taxis and buses and also use approved excursions as most insurance companies won't pay out if something goes wrong. We chose to go into town by bus, cheap and very frequent.

I don't know why but for some reason the locals can NOT pull away from a junction without beeping the horns on their cars/mopeds (mopeds can go on paths, watch yourself).
