dash can be done obd, ECU is marelli hybrid IAW 5AF and it have mileage, so making it virgin will remain it in factory state and mileage will be resetted. after making it virgin, do a flywheel adaptation or check lamp will remain on.

dash can be done OBD with any pro tools or fiat KM tool or can be done on eprom direct, have not tried tacho pro.

ecu , i think it's better to not touch if you don't have right tool to do it obd or on ecu plug.

question about enigma,dp3 etc:

Do these tools tell you the places the mileage is stored which the tool can't do, like I notice theres no mention of 5AF mileage in the list of supported cars

that's why they told you before that the only solution is making it virgin

you can do it only in the dash it is a 95080 read the eprom you can do it whith tachsoft

ar type: Fiat Grande Punto - 95080 - 2006-2007 years
The mileage is stored in the next lines:
This algo is in test mode, accuracy is ~ 7%
0000: 82 B3 C9 B0 7D 4C 36 4F 82 B3 C9 B0 7D 4C 36 4F
0010: 82 B3 C9 B0 7D 4C 36 4F 82 B3 C9 B0 7D 4C 36 4F
where the next bytes:
82 B3 C9 B0 7D 4C 36 4F - is a mileage

if tachosoft dont work put the dump

dashboard Magneti Marelli
data are stored with eeprom 95080
pin 1 GND
Pin 2 +12V
pin 3 +12V

ECU >> MAGNETI MARELLI 5SFxx EEPROM 95160

Please post your dump if possible ??

Good Luck...

if you have diga, open dash, shortcut cristal, clip eeprom 95080,
use men?: Fiat - Punto 95080 or Fiat - Panda 95080

Diga will show you current mileage - enter new mileage and press OK.

With Diga in this case its very important to shortcut cristal, otherwise it will not read correct.

actually , I didn't adjust that model before ,, but if I was in your situation , I would then release the dash and back up the EEPROM memory and try to adjust mileage for dash only and see the result ,, if mileage ok on the disply ,, then make a test drive for about 80km to make sure that mileage will not jump back or show errors by distance .. if all failed then you can restore everything back ,, otherwise you will need to buy a mileage correction tool such as Tacho universal, digimasterIII or any others whom can support mileage programming for this car via OBD , and this will cost you much money to buy a tool for adjusting one car !!

the calculator which I posted is an old one, Gopel had released vag calculator such as that one for fiat and ford too ,, but the one of the VAG can run via OBD using KL cable , I thought you might find the same for new version of that fiat calculator by Gopel (if existed!!)

Good Luck !
