Here try this Burmese python (Python molurus ssp. bivittatus) on American alligator (Alligator mississippiensis ) - 5369596 (http://www.forestryimages.org/browse/detail.cfm?imgnum=5369596)

That member near to you, has a large tub of grease and a tool, he bangs the air line up, expands over the joint and away.

You would be better off, sitting at home adding to members rep points than trying it yourself, nasty greasy job, car immobile once started

Now it's clear enough.
Better buy a new one - in one piece.
Just imagine how many times it's spinning ( R/pm) and it's all the time moving in all directions. Not quite safe to clue it.
Of course - if you are selling your car and customer is coming in next hour - should be OK for road test.

pain in the arse tho having to get drive shaft out to put an all in one on, they must be ok cause garages use them.

cheers m8, ive also just been told that the glued joint will be as strong if not stonger than the rubber itself, also just been told that a person had one of these put on and had no probs for 4 years with it, ive got to cut the new one down a bit, would the old one be good enough if it was patched up with a bit of the rubber that ive got to cut off the new one to pass an mot ? if this makes sense.

I dont think so because poss. the rubber on the old one is a different material from the glue split gaitor

the glue and the split gaitor would have been made so the glue bonds it together the old gaiter would have be molded a different way

From Latvia. That's my birthplace.
Stuck in England on my way to Australia. Was hoping move to warmer place and by the way learn some English, but now my Australian visa is refused (didn't pass English language test) and I'm preparing to go to far far away country to start my own workshop!

Gmb, if you can't get it to stick properly give me a bell, if you want to do the work yourself I'll lend you the tool to pop a stretchy boot over the cv joint, it's an air tool so you would need to do it at my workshop

Dik, remember to film him using the tool, to stick on you tube.

First attempt, rips boot into 3, second attempt fires gaiter over the wall onto the railway line
