Cisco ASDM and ASA mixed versions

I'm a newbie here and to networking. We have ASA 5520's and the support vendor upgraded the ASA's with 8.3(2) and ASDM version 6.4(1). Is it ok to run these together or do we need to upgrade the ASA to 8.4?
