Mini cooper S 2004 year dash problem

Hi. I need replaced dash (mcu 912dg128) in mini S 2004 USA ver petrol.
question:
1) Do I necessarily buy usa version? whether it can be europe? Car travels in Europe, so the client would prefer kilometers and not miles.
2) Is the dash must be programmed into the car?
3) Does the dash has to come from gasoline cars? Could it does not matter?

I only have eprom from oryginal dash. Please help guys!

Hi dont think it will matter wether it is usa or euro as it is is in miles i have swopped a dash in the uk and it was ok as for diesel and petrol not sure as the speedo maybe different,they do interchange though.

1) you can use a europe one
2) you have to program vin from car into dash
3) yes have to be a petrol one
