Hi , i'd like to present my last modification on my Audi A3 8P >2004 . It's a one touch start engine like mercedes . Only one press on key , no need to press until engine running.
On following PDF there is Steering Column Electronics Unit and Onboard Supply Unit.
Solution is add a 1000uF/16v capacitor between pin 18 (red/black wire) and GND (Pin 20 - Brown wire) on J527 Steering Column Electronics Unit (see PDF). With this , contact 50 will be closed about 3 seconds, enought to start engine even when it's hot, when start period is longer.
