Here you will see the serial of each itool listed

Serial will allso be visible in the fax you generate during registration of the Itool(s)

You need outlet no, serial no, and dealer no (partner no) for
generation of verification code.

I have that error too.
I tried a lot of different ways but no way. I can get any further.
I have a couple of ISTA/D versions, some on original DVDs some are copies. All the same.

I think it has something to do with ISIS installation

Does anyone know what this errorcode means?

this error is for GUI, graphical user interface, you can see that in ISTA Client, in great detail.
I have try everything, nobody wants to help.
Install ISTA Client and you will find in ISTA folder explanation about error, but no solution.

ERRORLEVEL 2
Setting up Bios failed.
and if i'm stop the install the vmware machine restart and next error: Missing success.sif.

What's wrong?
Please help me!

C?mon. ;-)
You have the file which controls the setup and you have a setup error. So just take the error message and try to find it in the file. It`s not that hard.
You?ll see there`s a step where the BIOS should be updated and of course thats not possible. Thats why you got this error message.
So we didnt want to execute this step anymore and the easiest way to do it is just delete the whole step. Done.

Just try to understand how scripts files works and you?ll see there?s no sorcery.

You must install Ista Client on oder PC, when finish you will see (on oder PC) Ista folder with all information.
Ista Client its same like on ISID.

If you have a good relationship to your local dealer you can get it there. In some countries the selling of icom is not as hard restricted as in germany or some other european countries.
If you are a venturesome guy you can buy chinese clones.

i changed respectively chose 2 settings.

During registration i?ve chosen all languages not only the one i really need, but i think thats not the main point.

The second setting i checked was the setting of the "Available brands". You have to make sure that ISIS and ISID have the same brands, corresponding to the contracts you entered during registration. When you enter all contracts, the setting is automatically set to "BMW Group" but if you entered only one contract, like me, nothing is set and you have to make it manually. Just look at the brands and language settings (wrench symbol) of ISID and ISIS before you install ISTA/D.

btw. Do you have the right language version of ISTA/D?

Another month later and as I was browsing the forum after a long time it just happend to come across this post.

For the part that may concern me the last time I was here the guy had not posted the needed data so I could not generate any license for him. I have done so for everyone that ever sent me a pm with the needed data.

Hi,

just post your registration data and you?ll get the code.
As long as a you use the same dealernumber and shop number during ISIS-registration, you can use the code as often as you want.

If all you guys can agree to use a specific dealer and shop number, all of you can use one code.

But this only works if you all use the same ISSS/ISID installation or to be more precise the same serial number of ISSS/ISID. But i think almost all of you guys who want to install it on VM use the same install images and so the serial numbers are always the same.

Just a suggestion.

No, you need to post the seral number of the ISID. Then we acn generate the key.

Hi,

Some friends have sent me pms for ISSS activation keys. In some cases after upgrading to 2.8 or 2.9 ISSS's serial number has been lost and it appears as ISSS

Altough activation keys could be generated for such serial numbers ISSS installation is not correct.

For 2.8 cases search drive P: for all occurances of hwver.dll and replace it with mine (modified) hwver.dll + hwver.dll.ini.

Then reboot ISSS and then its serial number should appear in ISIS's wsm screen correctly.

For 2.9 it appears that hwver.dll is not used to gather the serial number anymore so replacing it with the modified version (although helpfull in other paramters) does not help here.

Only the generated code for your fax will work.
i'm sorry but i have not this keygen needed for.
i even had to ask for this code but it is possible here.
