Hi,

Have a 607 4HX, customer have changed a 406 RHZ engine,

The diag give this fault :

- Turbo pressure too high

I have tested :

- Turbo solenoid, and it work fine.
- Turbo pressure sensor, and it work fine.

Now, i'm sure it come from the ecu software, if someone could give an idea ?

may be you have to edit turbo map to adapt the new turbo to the ecu

Engine is perfect, the problem is the map.

writes the turbo pressure too high right?
map sensor is a slave it measures only. there are probably errors by controlling the turbo. vacuum valve or hoses may well be the error

you need to take the vakumm hose from the turbo solvonoide and put it on the breake vakuum.. the problem is. not enougt vakuum.. sorry for my english

Check pipe from manifold to MAP sensor is clear had this prob before on vitara (same engine RHZ) pull pipe off @ MAP sensor and make sure you can blow down it freely. they tend to fill up with oil residue a carbon.:)

Am I the only one not sleeping here?

Guy swapped the 4HX engine, which is 2.2litre, with a RHZ engine, which is 2.0litre. He is still running on 2.2litre ecu!!! How can someone imagine this engine will work? Different capacity, different turbo, different injectors, only high pressure pump is the same.
