vivaro 2006 20cdti egr valve removal

anyone removed or replaced one of these ., its different to the older type , its like a throttle housing on the 20cdti , cheers got one in Wednesday but havnt seen the van yet

looks like espace one, VW type STUPID plug, 4 bolts (2 if they snap) and away.

some dunb ~~~~ manage to get if off in breakers yard, can't be that hard

well we got van in striped out airfilter and housing . removed bumper 6 bolts and just pull the ends and it clips off. removed intercooler , cut hands to bits and replaced, the mil light still on and saying egr fault lol . u got to love renault engines , lucky its was vauxhall that said it was the egr valve so down to them now to sort .. punter ok about it as he booked in for that job
