Hi all a bit of a strange request my friend has removed his peugeot 206 radio and removed the eprom to edit the vin inside on the way over to my house has has lost the eprom! The unit number was 22RC260/65 VDO Unit what I need to know is what eprom was inside and which way round it was fitted ie which side is pin 1 on? Where would the best place be to get a replacment eprom for this in the U.K?http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff41/elloboss/8324f72e.jpg

the eprom is 24c32 and can be bought from
www.farnell.com (http://www.farnell.com)

part no and link below

just trace the circuit board tracks, that big one is bounnd to be gnd or + 5v, then just look at schematic. I have nearly lost an eeprom before aswell but i found i had ran over it with my office chair wheels, the legs were bent bad but i straightened them out and it still worked, phew!
