This mistake takes place for throwing the installation from the erroneous route, the installation must be thrown from the sdswitch in the root of the first disc, but in some cases, after introducing the second disc, the files ROM are not copied and the computer restarts, this owes to itself to that in the record our equipment is a COMPACT 3 and the script of installation alone allows to install on the hard disk 2 DVDs if the equipment is a COMPACT 4, several solutions exist:
1)
To modify the entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\STAR DIAGNOSE\COMPACT3
To
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\STAR DIAGNOSE\COMPACT4
And to replace the file d2ksetup.ini
2)
After the restart of the equipment to copy to hand the files ROM of the second disc and to put them in his corresponding folders.
Example: rfile.005 goes to E:\db\wis\wisnet\110327030407 ___ G_04_11\R5
To replace the file dbconf.ini with the enclosure as well as tbdsk001 in his corresponding routes:
E:\db\wis\Database WIS\wisnet
E:\db\wis\Database WIS\wisnet\disks
To do the same thing with the file d2ksetup.ini located in C:\d2ksetup.rc
3)
To modify the script of both discs of installation to enable the installation of both discs in the HD.
G:\ewa\support_sd\setup.ini
All that tested with Xentry 07.2011 and WIS 04/2011
