View Full Version : vauxhal/opel vectra c ecm & abs no comm

Hello digital friends,

customer was driving on highway,car stopped working and gave steering in dash display.

car came in to garage today did diagnostic with op com but no communication possible with ecm and abs.

All other moduls where ok (except for some dtc , communication problems ecm).

could someone help me on this one.

Car is vectra c 2002, engine 2.2 benz, auto gearbox.

All suggestions are welcome.

YES it can,as CAN communication from ECU to other modules goes thru ABS control unit.
Check wiring diagram,please.

check for water anywhere inside on floor as well .can voltage is small and can be brought down or shorted out by water good luck

today cleaned all connectors, no help tommorow i will replace abs module and see what will happen.

Today tried other abs pump/module no help.
cleaned all connections, nothing helps engine not turning around nothing.
Does some one have another idea where to search

Check high speed can bus resistance in obd socket.

Pins are 6 and 14.

Normally you should have 60ohm and with the CIM or ECM disconnected 120ohm.

Can you communicate with EHPS and TCM?

Post here the full DTC history of the vehicle.
