I am having trouble as usual!
I got my xbox and opened her up . Its never been modded before.
Its a liteon drive (unlucky me) date AUG 2009 says f/w 83850c as I expected so thought I would be ok to flash through the SATA cable no extra hardware needed.
I got jungle flash as it seems to be the way to go. I updated the xbox via xbox live as it states to do so in the instructions that came with jungle flash.
I connected everything up SATA cable etc but jungle flash is finding f/w 02510c so I gather that the xbox update has given my dvd drive this firmware? if so why did Jungle ask me to the update?
I have tried searching for advice on modding the xbox with this firm ware revision and have come to a standstill.
I have no probes as was hoping it could be done via pc only but if I need a probe I will buy one. I have found one for a fiver it states its been tested on 78450c but not the 02510 does this mean it will work with my 02510 or not? I am confused.
Please help, I could do with knowing what probe and what method will work with my firmware.
