im after streeming HD movies to a WESTERN DIGITAL TV LIVE wireless through a wireless N adapter, are the speeds fast enough to do this, from upstairs to downstairs. Cheers guys..

Yes they are, but wireless speeds are not stable. In terms of speed, a wireless n 5Ghz router can do 300 Mb/s (it never really gets thist speed) and that is more then enough for HD

i have all my films shared from one pc downstairs which is wireless to kids laptops and pc's upstairs, which are also wireless... ps3 an xbox also connect and play films, no problems, and its a talk talk wireless n adsl router.. i've also have a dlink wireless n router that worked fine too..

so it wil streem full 1080p films from my wireless "N" router to my wireless "N" reciever downstairs..??

i would say no, not 1080p you may get away with 720p, i have not found anything that will stream my hd movies over wireless and not brackup

Agreed, I had to hardwire my pc to router and also my ps3 to my router, to enable HD play on my tv. 720p was ok, but as soon as I added in DTS sound it just would not stop stuttering.

No whether it is just the ps3 wireless could not cope I do not know....

just got my wireless N router and wireless N gaming adapter and tried a copy of a movie in 1080p and it streemed fine to my laptop via my NAS.. So there u go peeps....!!
