What's up?
I'll tell you what's up.....
B*st*rd heating's not coming on, that's what's up.
Hot water comes on no problem each time the tap is activated.
Pilot light is supposed to light up when heating dial is turned but it isn't doing so.
I've done all the resetting and gobblyb*ll*cks that the manual suggests but to no avail.
My missus is cold and I'm getting a headache.
Help, geeks. Help.

i would hazard guess at diaprapm problem it has probably split so it is not changing to the setting you need

it is very common in combi's and a pretty easy fix for a have a go di'yer

it will cost you about ?6

edit btw first check your bolier pressure make sure it is 1.5 bar use filling loop to increase it if its lower than 1.5

i fixed it. some dozy bugger of a lodger had 'kindly' removed the batteries from the thermo.
probably because they were sick of the constant ticking'
well fud 'em, i'm in charge now and the batteries stay in!
Fuds!!

turns out there is 2 different types anyway the standard has a dual exchanger the other has the diverter valve which can get stuck

but your sorted anyway so that is alll good in the hood blood
