Hi

I try to read the MC68HC11E9 in a LUCAS ECU from a Peugeot 806 2.1 TD without any success.

First i try In circuit reading but i've got an error message "Vcc overload please check Vcc"
I isolate the Vcc pin by cut the wire in the Ecu motherboard and i try reading, i've got this message "device is silent, time out...."

I desolder the MCU from board and try with the HC11 adapter and same problem, "device is silent, time out..."

I don't know how to read this MCU with my xprog !! My xprog works great with tms374 so...

Do you have a solution to my problem

Thanks for support

Best regards

I always read and write this 4e28b ecus not like hc11e9 but like hc11 secured with xprog in hc11 adapter. Always with success.

It's ok, i finally read the 68HC11E9 with xprog M !!!

I wrote it with full FFFF dump and resolder on the motherboard. I try the Ecu on the car but without success...the car don't start.
I try the Ecu on another car with 2.1 TD wich fully worked and the car don't start too.

Do i have to disconnect the immo box ? there is no keypad, just immo box and transponder.

Thanks

Hi.
Are you trying to start it without eerpom data? I guess that ECU wouldn't start like that. I have read the EEPROM with XPROG but you must use specific ocillator frequency. Check the CR1 Emulator manual whioch tell you which frequency.
