it doesnt say safe because i think the dashboard has been "patched"

i was able to adjust miles and read pin, CS and key info as you can see

just need to know if its a definite pre coded transponder needed

You can always try with PIN and normal diagnostic procedure. Maybe go. I dont know what can carprog. You can always put this seven byte to old dash till 06/06 and simply add key. Then just scribe ID from this transponder to new dash and it must work.

hello friend , if you already have a transponder then you may check for its reliability to be matched on the relative measuring blocks for the instrument module by VCDS ,, but anyway search for vag commander user manual here on DK , I have uploaded it long time ago but don't have link for now (I will try to find it) , there is detailed explanation for the transponder types that can be needed for making/learning new keys for vag cars.. also read the attached part from that manual, hope any can help!!

good luck :burnout:

Yes it is pre-coded one but, if you have Abrites Vag you can make one your self by using the normal Vag chip...........

Or get one from your local dealer and program it your self as you already have the pin code.......
