Help clone SAM smart roadster

Hello everyone.
I need to clone a "SAM" smart roadster year 2004 because it does not work. I have to clone perfectly, my "SAM" inside another.

The data, my "SAM" are:

SAM (BSI) module SIEMENS / VDO
5WK4 5090
SMART 00 11868 V009

processor "motorola HC9S12DG256 Mask 2K79X"

How can I do?
I have only read the "HC9S12DG256" and copy it to the other or do I have to do?
Can I use the "UPA" programmer?

MCU flash and eeprom,but with UPA you cant write flash just eep.You need another programmer.(x-prog m or ETL ..... )

ok, then I with x-prog for example, I read the Flash and EEPROM, inside the motorola HC9S12DG256 Mask 2K79X.
I do a complete reading of just HC9S12DG256
is ok?

xprog can do nothing with bdm and also etl can not connect with bdm .
but on board it works perfect.
i do not know to work well elt.
for flash with size 81kb i use elt to offest from adress 8000 and i program it .
i do not know if this is ok.

What is "BDM"
Or I need other tools

BDM is another good programmer. it can make most of the chips in the market.

I read with x-prog v5.0 with onboard layout from NY04

you can read and write without desoldering?
elt programmer can do with this?

not necesary desolder mcu, only lift a one pin, and solder 4 leads to the mainboard.


I not have use elt, only have use xprog, and 100% ok

I bought x-prog and it works well on smart sam I read and write very well without desoldering MCU, Audiomeca was right with the board
I'd need a backup of a sam smart roadster someone owns it?

Xprog-m or just xprog? I have a clone xprog 5.55 clone and need to test it but if it's not possible or will cause issue's maybe it's better to desolder the plate with the MCU and transfer to donor SAM?
