06 VW Passat ECM replacement

I have a 2006 VW Passat with bad ECM and I would like to swap it with the used one so my question is if this is possible. If yes, I'd like to know what needs to be done to make it work.
ECM p/n: 03H 906 032 C

about your ecu vw passat 3.6 fsi type formula MED9.1, yes is possible swap. copy eeprpm + flash. after can you start the car.
or if want try immo off.

I can post the picture if this will help in any way.

post a pic of the internals of the ecu, try to get a close up of any 8 leg eeproms, These are where the immo info is most likely held

about eeprom 8 legs (95160) & about flash you need (BDM) programmer to read & write the flash.

Thank you guys for the help, but I was unable to finish the job. The owner pulled the car from the shop to send it to the dealer.
